Standoff is a card game with a lot of questions. 

• Who should you attack and who should you save? 
• What cards do other people have? 
• What cards do you have?

Always operating without enough information, you must be the last one standing. Play hearts and shields to protect yourself. Attack foes with swords or wands. Be smart or be dead.

How is the game played?

Standoff is separated into two distinct phases: Dealing and Playing.

The Deal Phase

During the deal phase, you are given cards that you must evenly distribute left or right. During this phase, you must choose to pass a card left or right, one at a time. All players do this until everyone has a full hand. Did the other players give you anything good?

The Play Phase

Time to use those cards you've been given! You can choose to play cards left, right, or on yourself. Use swords on enemies without shields to do massive damage. Heal yourself with hearts. Protect yourself with shields. Bypass enemy shields with a wand card.  When a player reaches 0 health, they are eliminated and two players now have a new neighbor to begin attacking to their right or left!

Hearts: A player has 20 health. You can overheal for up to 30 health, but a single more and you will drop to 10.
